Arkansas State
Data Center
As the official US Census State Data Center for Arkansas, this unit provides access and education on Census Bureau data and products as well as other statistical resources to a multitude of data users across the state. Equipped with subject matter experts, this unit also provides demographic analysis and support to various clients throughout the region.
Geographic Information Systems
The GIS unit provides advanced spatial analysis, identifying trends and patterns at various geographic data scales. This unit also provides interactive spatial applications, utilizing both primary and secondary data, in order to make complex datasets more accessible and understandable to the general populace.
Emergency Management and Continuity
At AEDI, our Emergency Management and Continuity team leverages expertise and resources from across its departments—including GIS, Community Planning, State Data Center, and Economic Research—to deliver a whole-community approach to preparedness and resilience. AEDI’s resources allow for a unique economic perspective on all phases of Emergency Management. Together, we aim to strengthen every community in the state against future risks and challenges.
