Census 2010

The United States is mandated by the U.S. Constitution to count its population once each decade. Data collected by the decennial census determines the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives (a process called apportionment) and the distribution of billions in federal funds to local communities.  The files below contain data from the 2010 census specific to Arkansas. Most files are in Microsoft Excel format. Map files are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
