The CDC’s moratorium temporarily halting evictions during the pandemic expires on December 31, 2020. On Wednesday, a group of protestors stood in front of the Governor’s mansion asking for a halt on evictions.
In regard to the concerns being raised about the ending moratorium, Dr. Michael Pakko said, “It’s certainly understandable that people are concerned. The pandemic isn’t behind us yet.”
