The Census Bureau has many ongoing surveys of households and businesses, such as the American Community Survey. This site provides answers about their surveys and who to contact for more information.

Census Geocoder – Find Geographies
The Census Geocoder is an address look-up tool that allows the user to submit a single address for geocoding. The Find Geographies one line address output provides Census Geography associated with the submitted address, including the following: States, Counties, Census Tracts, Census Blocks, Combined Statistical Areas, Congressional Districts, County Subdivisions, Incorporated Places, and State Legislative Districts.

Response Outreach Area Mapper (ROAM)
The Response Outreach Area Mapper (ROAM) was developed to make it easier to identify hard-to-survey areas and to provide a socioeconomic and demographic characteristic profile of these areas using American Community Survey (ACS) estimates available in the Planning Database.

Low- and Moderate-Income Summary Data
Data sets on low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons, useful in particular for work relating to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – Custom Tabulations
These tabulations, known as the “CHAS” data (Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy), demonstrate the extent of housing problems and housing needs, particularly for low income households.

Arkansas Crime Information Center – Arkansas Department of Public Safety
In Arkansas, crime statistics are submitted by law enforcement agencies using the incident base reporting method within the Arkansas Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program. While this information comes from law enforcement and includes the number of arrests and incidents known and reported by law enforcement agencies, it does not include any data relating to prosecution, adjudication or corrections.

Migration data for the United States are based on year-to-year address changes reported on individual income tax returns filed with the IRS. They present migration patterns by State or by county for the entire United States and are available for inflows—the number of new residents who moved to a State or county and where they migrated from, and outflows—the number of residents leaving a State or county and where they went.
