The University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College was awarded a $2.5 million grant from U.S. Economic Development Administration for the first phase of its STEM Park project.
The STEM Park will help provide jobs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In the state, there is a demand for 3,300 STEM workers, but there is currently fewer than 2,800 STEM workers available.
